2013 HOT WHEELS HW CITY #29 LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO LP 570-4 SUPERLEGGERA (METAFLAKE BLUE) VARIOUS VARIANTS SPOTTED! - 24.APRIL.2013
Every times when my stock came in, i will always look for variants or some times might get lucky to have some errors for the cars i received. Yesterday, when i was organized my stock, i found these variants on BOTH body colors as well as the base. First, I want to elaborate on the bases which quite similar to my previous found on 2012 mainline series both U.S. & INTERNATIONAL Card editions #12 LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR (ORANGE) - 1st COLOR. Let's take a look...
This time, the variants were more interesting though.. (U.S. CARD EDITION)
VARIANTS ON ALL BASES..
Each of the bases shown above have variants and the most interesting parts of these variants is the one at the bottom (VARIANT #3) has the DARKEST GREY BASE AMONG ALL (AND ALSO HAS THE DARKEST BLUE BODY COLOR AS WELL)! The BLUE PAINTED RIVET is on the LEFT SIDE.
I can't captured the realistic of the body color to differentiate between of cars but i assure you if you see the real thing, the big different is there..Among all the LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO (BLUE) that i received, ONLY this one is the RAREST!!
Even for INTERNATIONAL CARDED edition, there's also has the same variant found. But not the left painted BLUE RIVET though. Here they are..
Notice the photo above, the left rivet's head is almost flat and seems not tighten enough.
If you have spotted more variants than i have discovered here, do let me know and share it with us, ok. :)
Now, let's turn to the light, darker & darkest of the body colors. Sometimes, when MATTEL factory make mass production on their products, surely there's gonna be some slightly different tone color produced. So i guess it is safe to say that this is a common variants for all of us to have the chance to get these variants as i have shown above. So, good luck to you all to search and obtains these variants, ok.

Well, here we go again.. a new 2ND BODY COLOR for this year's ONE OF THE MOST WANTED CARS in 2013 mainline series:
2013 HW CITY #21 HONDA S2000 (RED) 2013 HW SHOWROOM #155 '10 FORD SHELBY GT500 SUPERSNAKE (WHITE)
The pictures might be small but at least, we know what to expect for the next wave of 2013 mainline series. Both of these cars should be arrived in the next CASE CODE - L CASES. Since the month of April is coming to an end and we estimated that the 2013 L CASES will be in the market early to mid of next month - MAY 2013. For MALAYSIA's market, we are still expecting for the release of K Cases. For a full list of K CASE car list, you can check out my previous post HERE.
If you take a look at the Honda S2000 (RED)'s wheels, these wheels are similar to this year's 2013 HW STUNT #84 '08 Ford Focus (ORANGE)'s wheels. The only different for Honda S2000 (RED) is that the rear wheels are in YELLOW & the front should be in WHITE 10 spokes wheels. Where as for GT500 SUPERSNAKE (WHITE), the wheels are in LITE GREEN CHROME PR5 spokes wheels.
Both of these cars are gonna be sold out real quick especially GT500 Supersnake (WHITE).
Just keep your eyes wide open when you shop at any toy stores or malls for these great car models if these models are your favorites, ok.

2013 10TH REGULAR TREASURE HUNT - HW CITY #27 DODGE CHALLENGER DRIFT CAR (WHITE) U.S. CARDED SPOTTED - 23.APRIL.2013
Since the recently just released of the 2013 CASE CODE K mainline series for U.S. CARDED edition, we have finally have our eyes on the latest REGULAR TREASURE HUNT being spotted, which is the HW CITY #27 DODGE CHALLENGER DRIFT CAR (WHITE) U.S. carded edition. At first, i was thinking where did i see this familiar body tampos which doesn't bring me to a surprise level. If anyone can recall back to last year's mainline series, we did have the similar body tampos for this new treasure hunt, which is the 2011 #97 FASTER THAN EVER - DODGE CHARGER DRIFT (WHITE). See the picture below.
Let's take a look at this year's latest REGULAR TREASURE HUNT..
The only different is the MAGNAFLOW logo has been shift to front vehicle near front lights. And of course, the treasure hunt logo as well.
However, this model was actually based on the real life two-time Formula Drift Champion, Samuel Hubinette's Dodge Challenger Drift Car..
That's the MAN with his champion.. :)

In the end, i say it is worth every penny to add a new REGULAR TREASURE HUNT to our almost full set of this year's mainline treasure hunt. At this time, we haven't seent the rear view of this fine Dodge Challenger Drift Car yet, but soon. :)
WHITE body color is always the right choice for any collection to be worth while.
For 2013 K CASE (INTERNATIONAL carded edition), we haven't spotted a single treasure hunt yet. Hopefully we will soon enough.

2013 NEW NAME FOR A NEW TREASURE HUNT CATEGORY CALLED SCAVENGER HUNT CONSISTS OF 6 CARS COMPLETE SET SPOTTED! - 20.APRIL.2013
The 6 cars set for SCAVENGER HUNT series has just been sold on eBay and not many were found at this time (20.APRIL.2013 - SATURDAY). Only 2 car models has been spotted so far.. Check it out..

The most interesting model for me in this category would definitely be the TIRE FRYER!!
Just look at the FLAMES TAMPOS at the side of the car.. its really amazing.. a new design i suppose..

UPDATED: 2013 13TH ANNUAL HOT WHEELS COLLECTORS NATIONALS CONVENTION IN INDIANAPOLIS SPOTTED! - 16.APRIL.2013
I'm very excited to share with you all about this cool event held at Sheraton Indianapolis at Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN. Its the event that all hw collectors should not miss out coz there's alot of prizes to be won during the auction session and lots of cool custom been displayed at the event. It was held from 10th til 14th of April 2013. Some of the activities during the event are:

designers - Items donated by members such as Hot Wheel themed mail boxes,
small quilts, grab bags of cars and sets - Original art work by Larry

Well, at first before they announced the official casting for this '55 CHEVY PANEL which everyone is wondering about this - WILL IT HAVE THE MOTORCYCLE AT THE REAR TRUNK? The answer to this is YES!!! HAHA... We finally have the TRUE COLLECTIBLE CASTING that is worth it all the way. Here's the pic from the official HW web site show off the motorcycle once again..
Do take note that the rims is not in BLACK color but in CHROME 5SP WHEELS. A MUST HAVE FOR ALL SERIOUS HW COLLECTORS OUT THERE! :D

A bit closer look...
If you look close enough on the front wheels, it is not a simple red line like normally we saw before, it is actually a new art designed by Steve Vandervate with a REPEATED RED CURVE WAVE on the REAL RIDER RUBBER TIRES!! Pretty cool eh.. It has not only have a cool flames tampo the side, there's also a red wording 'VANDERVATE' imprinted on it!!
I wanna show some of the details about this model and for those who did not know much about this model, i have a sample of this car just to give you an idea of the entire casting. This one is from the first edition casting made in 1998 in HW DESIGNER DREAMZ SERIES 4 - ROCKET OIL + BIZARRO set. Let's have a look..

Now the good part is that the half of the body can be lift up to revealed the interior!!
The roof top has cut off in the middle to fit in with the oil tanker openers. Cool..cool..cool...
This model really deserved its given name..check that oil tank in the middle..its really detailed, man!!
and all the complicated parts regarding about an oil carrier vehicle..there's also a red & black oil pumping handler..it is really amazing...

The CHROME plastic engine is just beside the driver's front seat!
So let's ask ourselves - How bad do you want this model? HAHA.. My mind is boiling now!! :D
Metal base stamped with CHINA ROCKET OIL! Notice the front, middle and rear wheels have different sizes!! Speechless..man.. SPEECHLESS... :P
So, there you have it for the ROCKET OIL review..Besides the ROCKET OIL also have an interesting car called BIZARRO. I will have to review it some other times then..hehe..
