2014 HOT WHEELS MAINLINE CASE B & C - #191 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE (HERBIE THE LOVE BUG) WHITE ~ MULTIPLE ERRORS + VARIATIONS SPOTTED! - 23.NOVEMBER.2013

Hey, guys. What's up? Today, i finally have completed all the variations & errors found from the very first released of 2014 MAINLINE CASE CODE B (SPOTTED ON: 24.OCTOBER.2013) & C (SPOTTED ON: 13.NOVEMBER.2013) only for this model:

#191 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE (WHITE) ~ 1ST COLOR OF 2014

(NOTE: There might be more variants & errors out there that i might missed out. But i will still keep looking & if anyone has any variants or errors that you would like to share with me, you can always email me for good pics, ok. Thanks. )

Before i start with the errors, let's begin with the variations found on the car's base.
There are 2 variations found. One is the earlier version & the other is late version with different positions where the words are stamped and also with new & old Hot Wheels logos. The other variation found is the used of LARGE & SMALL SIZE RIVET USED. Check it out.

EARLY VERSION

LATE VERSION

The smaller number the base code, the earlier version it gets, which also means the earlier production. Just like in this case, base code F34 until F36, all has the features stated below:
- OLD HOT WHEELS LOGO.
- LARGE WORDINGS (FACING UPWARDS) 'made in Malaysia'.
- 2 VARIATIONS ON THE USED OF FRONT RIVET: SMALL & LARGE SIZE RIVET.
There might have more variations on the base number but what i found out is that from base number 'F44', all features have changed as stated below:
- NEW HOT WHEELS LOGO (STAMPED AT BELOW FRONT BUMPER).
- SMALL WORDINGS (FACING DOWN) 'made in Malaysia'.
- SMALL FRONT RIVET USED. ( NOTE: There might have large front rivet used. )

Now, this is the most interesting finds so far for the errors that i found on the net. I will list them out according to the dates that the item found. Check it out.

2 CARS SAME ERRORS: WRONG FRONT WHEELS (CHROME RIMS WITH BLACK MUSCLE CAR 5 SPOKES (BLACK MC5) WHEELS.

ERRORS:
1. MISSING SIDE NUMBER '53'. ONLY MILKY WHITE ROUND CIRCLE REMAIN.
2. MISSING REAR TAIL LIGHTS (RED), RED & BLUE STRIPES & NUMBER '53'.

ERROR: UNSPUN REAR RIVET, CAUSING THE REAR TRUNK LIFTED FROM ITS BASE.

Well, that's all i can find for now. One of the fun thing about collecting Hot Wheels cars is that there are so much discovery to be unfolded. You have to look very closely & have a very sharp eyes as well as alot concentration in order to find the unusual ones. Sometimes even it is in your collection and you haven't really know it is an error(s) or variant(s). Better check it out yourself sometimes, alright.

For me, i love errors & variations. And it is very interesting for those who have found it and auction it out for those who is willing to pay for a higher price for it. The excitement is for both parties indeed. The one that found it and sold it & the one who wins the auction out of so many bidders and own it. That's one of the best feelings ever! :D

So, for those that already have this model, you can still check it out and see if you have found any error(s) or variation(s), ok. For those haven't got one yet, you can always hunt at your nearest shopping mall that has toy shops or shop online. There is still so much to discover. And if you still can't have enough for this mainline version, you can still wait for the upcoming 2014 HOT WHEELS - RETRO ENTERTAINMENT series with fully detailed body tampos, real rider rubber tires & cool designed card in this late November to early December 2013, alright.
