2013 HOT WHEELS SCAVENGERS HUNT - 2ND WAVE - PONY-UP (GREEN) & VULTURE (YELLOW) SPOTTED! - 24.MAY.2013

Here, we have new SCAVENGER HUNT spotted in 2ND WAVE:
1. PONY-UP (GREEN) 03/06
2. VULTURE (YELLOW) 05/06

In late April 2013, we have seen the 1ST WAVE of SCAVENGER HUNT car model - TIRE FRYER (BLACK) & SCORCHER (COPPER) in my previous post. It might not be the finest casting in 2013 but i still like the unique casting of these 2 models especially VULTURE. The unique designed of the long exhaust-pipe near the driver seat. You can get this models in eBay now as they are just been released recently.

So now, we still left another 2 car models which we might have a first look of their pictures here somewhere in June 2013. A full set of 6 cars are need to complete the collection of this SCAVENGER HUNT series! Hopefully MATTEL can produced a much more exciting car models for this series soon. Just to boost the interest of A MUST GET car models eh.. :D

These L Cases already released in U.S. market. Hopefully we will be seeing this more in MALAYSIA's markets soon. The closer we get to the end of line in HW MAINLINE SERIES, the more exciting casting we will get. Alot of new casting has been revealed in this wave & hopefully, by the end of August 2013, we will be seeing a complete set of the entire 2013 mainline series.

2013 HOT WHEELS FINAL SUPER TREASURE HUNT$ - SHOWROOM #217 '71 DODGE DEMON (SPECTRAFLAME BLUE) SPOTTED! - 22.MAY.2013

Finally, we have come to an end of this line in SUPER SECRET/HIDDEN TREASURE HUNT$ for this year's mainline series. Not what we have expected but its a fine collection for all. Let's have a look..

2013 HOT WHEELS SHOWROOM - HEAT FLEET #217 '71 DODGE DEMON

What i love about this casting is the body color that really match its style indeed. Ever since this was spotted on the net yesterday, i have manage to custom paint on one of my extra casting of '71 Dodge Demon into CANDY DARK BLUE WITH CUSTOM SILVER BASE. I also manage to fit the vehicle with the same RUBBER TIRES used in the treasure hunt series. Let's take a closer look.

The super treasure hunt used CLEAR PLASTIC WINDOWS & BLACK INTERIOR. The base is in CHROME PLASTIC material. The roof top & rear trunk does not have any tampos. The most interesting part with this vehicle is the flames body tampos that covers almost all the surface on both side plus the double black stripes on front bonnet. A little bit of flames tampos (same pattern like the side flame tampos) were spotted on both corners of the front bonnet as well.

This super treasure hunt will be available soon in 2013 mainline series CASE CODE Q in LATE MAY to EARLY JUNE 2013. Just half year period gone and we have already seen the complete version of the entire 2013 mainline series - SUPER SECRET/HIDDEN TREASURE HUNT!! Soon, we will be able to see the first TREASURE HUNT in 2014 mainline series! So stay tune for more updates, ok.

2013 MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. - "LOLA" IS A 1962 CORVETTE WHICH SIMILAR TO HOT WHEELS '62 CORVETTE VERSION SPOTTED! - 19.MAY.2013

The trailer for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series debuted on 13TH OF MAY 2013 which feature a very interesting vehicle named LOLA. It is a 1962 Corvette in red body color. The minute i saw the car, it looks really similar to HOT WHEELS version which was on the mainline list - 2013 HW SHOWROOM #207 '62 CORVETTE (BLUE). Let's check out the TV series version..

A closer look..if you notice, the roof top is not present at this scene.

This scene was taken in the 'Don't touch Lola' trailer.

As you can see, the roof top is intact.

At a bottom view on rear side of the vehicle.

THIS IS ONE OF THE FAMOUS SCENE WHERE AGENT COULSON IS ABOUT TO SAY TO MAGIC WORDS! :D

When reach almost the end of the trailer, Agent Coulson said to the guy 'Don't touch Lola.'.  :D

 The actual car would be look like this.. 

The red body color almost looks like the car in the movie CHRISTINE (1983) horror movie where the same name use for the vehicle's name. Take a look..

Not much were produced for '62 Corvette since 2009.
And you know what, since MATTEL produced '62 Corvette in 2009 until 2011, all the bases are made of DIECAST/METAL until this year mainline series, both REGULAR & SUPER TREASURE HUNT series were made of PLASTIC BASE! Its a bit sad though.. Not categorized as heavy car or fully metal car. :(
Hopefully we can see more of HOT WHEELS '62 Corvette in the near future. Who knows, maybe MATTEL might acquire the license to produced MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. - LOLA in our present HOT WHEELS category RETRO ENTERTAINMENT series eh.. :)

Funny though, MATTEL has never produced a 1958 PLYMOUTH FURY so far. The closest resemblance to 1958 PLYMOUTH FURY version is the 1957 PLYMOUTH FURY which produced in 2009 treasure hunt category #44 in PEARL ORANGE BODY COLOR.

Well, I'm a fan of movie cars and i think there's alot of HW fans out there also have the same interest eh.. I hope that MATTEL can produced more of this movie cars & it would be a new interest rises among all fans out there! :) Since MATTEL has proven their productivity quality is improved over these few years time.

2013 POS MALAYSIA HAS INSANELY INCREASES INTERNATIONAL AIR PARCEL FOR WORLDWIDE DELIVERY THAT TAKES EFFECT IN MAY 2013 - 17.MAY.2013

First of all, i know that the topic is not about HOT WHEELS but it does related to all the net sellers in MALAYSIA who do business in HOT WHEELS or toy related business online or online worldwide business including me. This morning when i want to sent out parcels to overseas and one of the sender from our local post office mentioned that the oversea postage price has been insanely increased to double the normal price. I was totally shocked when i was told that one of my parcel that send to U.S. address is RM64.60 for 0.21kg!! Can you imagine that?? What makes me even more unhappy when the person in charge at the counter ask me do you still want to send or not?? Last time, when i posted out to U.S. address is only RM23.40 for 0.21kg. *RM stands for Ringgit Malaysia. Luckily i did photographed the postage rate before it increased.

THIS IS THE PAGE WHERE MOST OF US (NET SELLERS) SHOULD TAKE SERIOUS NOTE ABOUT THE PRICE LIST FOR AIR PARCEL WORLDWIDE COURIER SERVICE.

If you take a look at the zoning section for Air Parcel, U.S.,U.K., Canada & Mexico is not in any zone list. Don't you think it is weird? And if these countries were to be categorized in Other Countries, that means that the postage cost is about RM120 and above (for 1kg)?

I have called the head of our local poslaju here and ask about whether the POSLAJU shipping rate will be increased or not and mentioned that will not be increase at the moment. They have discuss this matter since the POS MALAYSIA have increased the price and they received ALOT of complaints and there's no reason given for why the overseas postage fee has been increased at the moment.

Well, i just want to share these information for all MALAYSIAN out there who is doing posting to overseas, please be aware of this matter and share with all your friends or colleagues, ok. Ever since the end of the Election, some of the things in our country has been changes alot. I felt that this matter is only the beginning of something even worst which is about to pour on all of us. Some of my friends here has already stop the business for shipping out because of the increased postage fee. Be aware of all the things that ship into our country from overseas and check all things are correct and in order before you take your things from the post office. We are being forced to use other courier services but i can tell you now that all the other courier services are more expensive even if you have registered account on them. I have called some of the other courier services and they mentioned the postage rates will be increased sometimes soon.

Again, please share this information to avoid any inconvenience costs to your customers at the end of the transaction. Thank you.

2013 14TH SUPER TREASURE HUNT$ #229 '07 FORD MUSTANG (METAFLAKE GREEN) CARDED + LOOSE VERSION HAS BEEN SPOTTED! - 16.MAY.2013

After waiting for about a month, finally we have a new SUPER TREASURE HUNT$ spotted on eBay (first hands) and with both versions - LOOSE & CARDED. If you recall back in the old days, FORD MUSTANG is always one of the top choice to be selected for treasure hunt in HOT WHEELS category. We have seen:

NOTICE THAT THE TOP CAR HAS PRINTED A NEW VERSION OF YELLOW WORDING 'GUARANTEED FOR LIFE'.

Not much times were spend on the body art tampos. But i will still give it 4 out of 5 rating for this model. For those who didn't know, this model is the first time ever to be enter into TREASURE HUNT category. But still, it will be one of the most wanted car during this season & surely will not be miss by many fans of MUSTANG in the world!

The car's base is made of plastic and it is in black color. So, a bit sad that the base is not made of diecast/metal material. But who knows, maybe it might came out in POP CULTURE or HOT ONES category eh.. :D
