2013 HOT WHEELS RETRO ENTERTAINMENT - SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT - '77 PONTIAC FIREBIRD (CARDED) - LATEST ASSORTMENT: 9.JANUARY.2013

Finally, we have seen the first photo of the latest assortment from the HOT WHEELS 2013 RETRO ENTERTAINMENT. This vehicle was based on the movie back in the old days named SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT (1977) where during those days were very famous both the actors such as Burt Reynolds as Bandit himself and the car '77 Pontiac Firebird which has the famous gold color firebird art at the bonnet. Back to this day, MATTEL has revised this great casting based on the movie.

Isn't it cool.. ?? This was in the '70s ..
This was all happens before the KNIGHT RIDER became famous during the '80s.
Again.. Thanks to MATTEL for coming up this great vehicle.. let's check it out the real thing..

I must salute MATTEL for bringing this model back..
Really fantastic model indeed!
It really did a good job on all parts .. especially the body tampos..
The best part for me is the rear tail lights & the car plate really resemble the movie's car! :)
Even the base are made of DIECAST/METAL with 'UNIVERSAL STUDIOS' imprinted on it as well.
The wheels are in DEEP GOLD CHROME COLOR WITH DEEP DISH SPOKES WHEELS.
Overall.. all collectors & newbies alike MUST OWN this model!! A MUST! :)
This model will be in the market early to mid February 2013.

2013 HOT WHEELS MAINLINE CASE E US CARD EDITION WORLDWIDE RELEASED + VARIANTS ON CARD SPOTTED! - 3.JANUARY.2013

I am so excited to announce that 2013 HOT WHEELS MAINLINE SERIES CASE E has finally released in the U.S. soil early 2013! As you all know.. some collectors are not so happy about the layout of the card designed which MATTEL has run out of ideas of which is the best designed for the 2013 mainline card. Well, i think MATTEL really heard us all as for the U.S. card edition, more arts are added to the card for each separated series and i'm not sure if anyone has notice about the changes as well as to the designed on each categories but it sure is interesting enough for all to find out soon.. let's check out what models are in this CASE CODE E, shall we..

PURPLE CARDED:

2013 1ST BATCH - HOT WHEELS FLYING CUSTOMS CASE B SET OF 5 CARS WORLDWIDE RELEASED - 2.JANUARY.2013

The HOT ONES series has been replaced by FLYING CUSTOMS series and it just got better casting & exciting car models! What is so interesting about this series is that all body & base are made of DIECAST/METAL material. That will always attracts collectors & new comers alike even though the wheels are not as nice as the BOULEVARD series. But if you know how to customized 1/64 scale car model, this is really a fun hobby to begin with. Let's check it out ...
These series consists of 5 car models:
- SHERIFF PATROL (WHITE)
- AMPHICAR (LITE BLUE)
-  TYRRELL P34 (BLACK)
- CUSTOM '42 JEEP CJ-A2 (WHITE)
- '73 FORD GRAN TORINO (RED)

 All wheels are plastic with unique designed of all kinds of patterns.
Those who loved classic.. you might wanna check this out real fast .. coz it is damn nice.. :)
For me i loved TYRRELL P34 as this model first released in 2010 #044 mainline series and the first color is BLUE. With all that six wheels on a model that looks like F1 race car... who wouldn't want to own it eh.. :)

2012 HOT WHEELS BOULEVARD L CASE SET OF 5 CARS WORLDWIDE RELEASED - 2.JANUARY.2013

This batch is really one of the kind.. it has been selling like HOT CAKE throughout the world on eBay site! As usual.. the FIRST seller who released this batch is wheelcollector! - eBay nick.

 This series is considered the MOST SOLD OUT compared to the other previous BOULEVARD series released.
